LlamaLAN 10 - RTS Tourney

ok, I'm going to have to go away and get some detailed info on the game, so I can sort these decisions out. I will try and have a definitive answer on the tournament scenrio by the end of the weekend.

Anyone who has serious suggestions please feel free to help out, you guys know the game far better than I do

i'd say give it our own choice

i saw the tourney at i33 for CnC3, u have choice of what race u want to be, but given that all competetors chose Nod ^.^

I think you choose your race is the best way to go different races suit differen styles of play.

cnc3, rise of nations would be fun, starcraft is awesome if anyone has it... warcraft 3 would be nice also..

i'll have 2 find my nations disc if were gonna play RoN :p.

i came 4th at i32 WCG UK qualifiers and i played scrin in most games, 2 as GDI and 3 as NOD . my friend from way up north grabbed 3rd and Apollo who is another friend of mine grabbed 1st .. cnc3 is really alot more balanced now.. .

I think what KF is looking for in this thread is suggestions on how best to implement the tournament which was voted for, decided upon, in the format that has been decided ... rather than changing the choice ... if you have ranked those games listed in your profile already then that is already your contribution to making the choice for the next event but this event has already been decided for several weeks based on the votes at the time.

edit: I've just checked your profile ... you haven't voted for any games whatsoever ... if you go to the games list in your profile and select the games you have and would be prepared to play at future LANs and arrange them according to your personal preference with you favourite games towards the top ... this is what goes to influence the choice of games played at the LAN.

This is one problem with forums. We humans are inherently lazy, and thus tend to read no further than post number one.

The decision has been made based on the majority in favour of CnC 3.

Please see this thread to make helpful suggestions on server/game settings for any of the big games.

Update:

2v2 Tournament has been created and is open! go get your clans created and get signed up.

Once everyone is signed up, I will remove the 1v1 tournament.
