In case you weren't aware, the follow up (note - not the sequel) to Crysis is available from Friday the 19th of this month.
Warhead puts you in the nano-shoes of that lovable mouthy Brit you saw in the first game - 'Psycho'. Warhead deals with what adventures he went through while not at your side during the events of vanilla Crysis. Initial reviews are rating it rather well, stating more varied action, a more optimised engine, improved visuals and better AI.
Here's one review.
Play.com sell it for about fifteen quid. When I get hold of it I can tell you more, unless someone beats me to it.

Re: Crysis: Warhead arriving 19th September
Steam are doing quite a good deal on it, personally I find Steam's pricing to be all over the place, some games work out very reasonable, others remain extortionately high for ever. I may well be getting this, I like the idea of them tweaking the graphics so that it's actually playable.
edit: a case in point ... Crysis Warhead a very reasonable $29.99 so about £15.00 plus taxes, roughly equivalent to the boxed price, if you add Crysis to it and you jump to $79.98 a leap of $49.99 for the older game that's been out for over 6 months ... bizarre

Unfortunately it's often the tax that stuffs up Steam's pricing even on their better deals. Through Steam we can get the Crysis Complete Pack. This is up for $69.98. xe.com makes this about £39.20.
If you go to play.com (no delivery charge) and buy both Crysis (£27) and Warhead (£15), that's £42. I'd guess that, after the Steam purchase taxes are added, I'd be better going with the UK retailer.
I want to buy both as well; I borrowed antiflow's copy for ages and I returned it to him at LLX.
EDIT: Interesting interview with the one of the Crytek team discussing the lessons they learned from Crysis and the public's response, and how Warhead benefitted: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/3 ... aking_.php
