It feels like this one took me about a week's worth of man hours. Yes, I mean 168 hours of work. But see if you think it was worthwhile or not!
While work proceeds on some improvements in the User Profile section of the website, this is not yet available in the galleries. However, feel free to take versions of these images, unaltered, for the purposes of posting in your own forums/blogs etc to advertise the event. Do note this is NOT a license for you to alter the image in any way except to resize or whatever for display.
Even if all seats are full (apparently inevitable for this event!) and you have a friend interested in joining us, they can attend as a spectator (£6) to see what we're about. They're more than welcome to come along. Specs can actually play Projector Games, just not LAN games.
Two versions here - one biggie, one 'forum-post' sized.

LlamaLAN XIII: LLAMAGEDDON... POSTER!
Re: LlamaLAN XIII: LLAMAGEDDON... POSTER!
I'm epicly jealous of your colouring.
What do you use? D:
The poster is indeed suitably epic.

No need to be jealous! I used Photoshop CS3 for this. I've adapted techniques I picked up from tutorials. The latest one, which was key for achieving more realistic shading, highlighting and texturing, is here:
Quick Tutorial 1: Basic render by *GENZOMAN
The other advise I found crucial to decent colours is here:
Coloring technique by *yuni
I use gradient maps for almost every colour, except the background fog. Before I started even pencilling the sketches on this I pictured Terminator Llamas (Llamanators!!) coming out of orange fog. The fog was really important to pick out each detail (and obfuscate the bright but background details!). There's about 13 fog layers at 5% visibility in there, each one with masks revealing more and more stuff as it recedes.
It takes about two minutes to open or save!
