Hi guys
Not to long to go now and as im preping I have realised that none of my data is on my PC - game iso's being the important one. Its all on my trusty NAS.
so before I go out and buy an extra drive to get my data back onto my PC and knowing that power has always been a problem for llama. whats the policy regaurding NAS's / External drives and the like?
Cheers

Re: Ancillary Equipment
external drives are pretty much par for the course at LANs.
As for the NAS, ensure it is set to DHCP and not a static IP as you will either not be able to see it or screw up something on the network
If you want a static IP to be assigned to to from our DHCP server, then let me know the MAC address and I'll setup a reservation

Re: Ancillary Equipment
Don't want to be seen as being economical with the truth so should have probrably said in my previous post it is a rather large nas.. *cough* 9 drive *cough*
Built it for low power usage running samy Eco green drives and a VIA C7 1.5 cpu that runs at 12W.
Am I still good?

Re: Ancillary Equipment
that is ever so slightly economical
we'll set that up with the servers then, should be ok power wise that way
