What sort of Network will it be?

Our first event held in at a venue any where near a McDonalds!!

you don't the whole network will be running DHCP, so you will get IP address's from the server.

you will be able to find out o nthe dat by doing an IPCONFIG
If it bleeds, we can fry it :0D

In your network card settings under TCP/IP Make sure your config is set to Automatically Obtain IP.

Job done.
