Agreed agreed agreed. It was a good laugh Kanon, despite the probs you had I think everyone made the most of it. It's a shame I couldn't be there for more of it. Very inconsiderate of Chloe's mum to go into hospital the same weekend as a LlamaLAN.
It was cool to see some guys I didn't know were coming - snipes007, mooyoo, TheJediYoda to name a few. Was excellent to play with some of the dummies in person once again (excuse the term), and we finally met Darky.
You could tell I wasn't with it this weekend. Who else turns up to a LAN with a patch lead, but no network card? Who else but I could lock the PC on Saturday night, and turn up on Sunday without the key? Thank goodness Stella was there... but I won't be giving him my home address any time soon.
P.S to KF - ferget learning to fly the Apache or MIG btw, I'll have you flying Tie Interceptors like the best of them yet!!

It rocked ... absolutely superb ... didn't quite go to plan ... but then ... what does? by two o'clock the network was running like a dream ... most people were playing on the official servers hosted by a volunteer and typicall it was 5 or 6 a-side on BF or DC and very much worthwhile ... damns shame I sucked so badly ... and some people REALLY need flying lessons ... typically
CD to pilot : who's flying this thing?
pilot to CD : I thought you were ...
CD to pilot : is this helicopter supposed to go upside down?
pilot bails out ...
CD to pilot : hello?
CD to pilot : hello? anyone there?
CD to pilot : bastard ... tell me when you bail out next time!
sound of black hawk helicopter hitting the gound at high speed
CD to pilot : ouch! ... never flying with you again ...
KF : welcome to Llama airways ... we don't aim to please ... we aim for the the head!
Well done KF!
