Our liberty and privacy that is..

Read and weep for the utter fucktards that are our government. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7819230.stm

I shall be looking to emigrate as soon as is viable for me. I have had enough of Big Brother in this country.

It's fucking ridiculous.

The 'War on Terror' has become the most ridiculous yet easiest excuse for government atrocities around this planet.

Illegal to take photos in public?
Illegal to write articles that may 'incite communal disharmony'?
Be careful how you party!

Anti-Terrorism laws give small-minded officials the means to justify their insane attitudes. It's like me justifying the decision to blow up my car (with bombs) because it has one flat tyre, which could cause damage to the car if I drove it.

The term 'war on terror' is such a dangerous cliche - look at the speeches from leaders in various conflicts happening today.

Which is why I suspect emigrating won't help you.. :(

The best place to emigrate to was New Zealand, seems they are passing stupid fucking laws as well :(

there is no hope. Take off and nuke the site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure :(

I know emigrating elsewhere isn't going to avoid it forever.

But I have my tickets booked to New Zealand for Feb 2010. And hopefully acquire a working visa and a job there if it's viable. If not, I'll have to come back to be a minion of Orwell.
