Hi all,

I'm here writing this on behalf of haptavius (http://www.llamalan.co.uk/forums/member ... file&u=931) from yellow team.

His laptop (and gaming machine) has had a bit of a severe hiccup in the last day or so, and we're not yet sure if it will be in working order before the LAN.

So we would to like to know if any of you kind people have a spare computer that could be brought to the LAN for him to borrow, in the event that his laptop is still out of action?

p.s. I will edit this post to update on the laptop situation as it develops.

I can't offer a PC, coming by train and all, but if needs be I have a spare 8800gtx that can be leant if someone else has a rig that will take it.

Shit that's bad news. Afraid I can't help, least not off the top of my head.

I really should get round to trying to make my previous machine work again after that one just.... stopped....

An update!

It looks like the laptop is functioning again.

Windows had to be reinstalled after a hard drive format.

So as long as he's put his games back on by friday and they run ok (and the machine doesnt trip up again) we should be good.

Phew, crisis averted.

(fingers are still crossed though, just in case)

Good to hear, reminds me that I should probably do at least some prep myself..
